European GT4 champion Max Koebolt becomes ambassador for K&N Filters

Racing driver Max Koebolt, who won the championship title in the hard-fought GT4 European Series last year, becomes an ambassador for K&N Filters. The 20-year-old driver from The Netherlands will again be racing in the GT4 European Series this year. “Of course, defending the title is my aim, even though that will be a huge task in such a strong field,” Koebolt is aware. “I am really proud of the fact that a nice brand like K&N Filters, with such a strong and successful heritage in motorsport, has appointed me as an ambassador. I am looking forward to a pleasant and fruitful co-operation.”

Raymond Vries, account manager at K&N Engineering, Inc., says: “Max Koebolt is young and dynamic. This is very much in line with the K&N brand image. On top of that, he is a winner who is performing at an international stage. That made us decide to connect our brand name with him.” As a part of his ambassador role, Max Koebolt will be showing the K&N Filters brand logo on his helmet, his race suit and the race car. Moreover, Max Koebolt will be involved in K&N marketing activities such as trade and public fairs.

“In motorsport, it is all about performance and good air filters are playing a major role here,” Max Koebolt knows. “In this field, K&N Filters has half a century of experience and an outstanding reputation. Also for people who want maximum performance from their road cars, K&N Filters are the right choice. I support that for 100 percent!” For Max Koebolt, the GT4 European Series race season gets underway at Zolder in Belgium, 7 and 8 April. After that, the calendar includes races at the circuits of Brands Hatch in the UK, Misano in Italy, Spa-Francorchamps in the Belgian Ardennes, the Hungaroring in Hungary and the Nürburgring in Germany.
